Live Interview with Sanyukta Shrestha (Fashion Designer) Sanyukta Shrestha, A leading sustainable bridal designer based in London, is throwing a wrench into the fashion industry in a variety of ways, from helping to save the environment, to introducing inclusive trends of eco-friendly and sustainable high-end fashion. Famous for her timeless bridal and evening wear by using the eco-friendly materials sustainably, Sanyukta is a true epitome of creativity and has received several prestigious national & international awards for her commitment towards a sustainable approach and her timeless designs. Having a cult following brides across the world to the celebrities like Victoria’s Secret supermodel Candice Swanepoel, American girl band Fifth Harmony and Amy Nuttall to name a few, Sanyukta entered the international scene at the age of 17 where her designs were first showcased on Miss World, Miss Asia Pacific, Miss Earth. Known to be “the Youngest celebrated designer”, Sanyukta created custom designs for many Films and Celebrities in Nepal before graduating from the London College of Fashion in 2005. Recognised by the media as “the dawn of the sustainable movement” and “the Greta of the Wedding World”, the Nepalese born designer Sanyukta Shrestha has redefined the bridal market with her innovative creation and was among the first to introduce sustainability to the bridal industry.
