Children and adolescents look delighted during festival seasons as festivities signify joy, happiness, peace, and harmony. However, some find it scary and threatening as there are equal chances of being harassed by family members, and relatives. Some may feel traumatized as they can't share their suffering with their parents due to trust issues and social/cultural barriers. Addressing the same scenario, in the 96th episode of the podcast series, Gulabi Sambad we discussed how sexual harassment/abuse done by family members and relatives during festivals traumatizes children and teenagers.
