Abhas Maskey is a Nepali scientist and the founder of “Antarikchya Pratisthan Nepal” who is working towards Vision 2050 with the government and private organizations to place the first Nepalese Astronauts by 2050, and his team built and launched the first satellite of Nepal, NepaliSat-1. Whereas, Saurav Poudel and Jiten Thapa are electronic engineering graduates who are working under “Orion Space Nepal” and made Nepal’s first pico-satellite called the Sanosat-1. Both, Abhas Maskey and Sanosat-1 teams individually made small portable satellites to make them cheaper and more reliable to use.
