We normally think of beauty pageants as a type of competition for women, but Mister Global is dispelling our preconceived notion. Today male beauty pageants have become a growing trend worldwide, along with the rise of the male beauty industry. Nepal won its first major international beauty pageants title when Santosh Upadhyaya, a 29-year-old medical doctor from Lalitpur, became the third runner-up in the grand finale of Mister Supranational 2021 held at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sacz, Malopolska & Poland. This is Nepal's first-ever participation in the international pageant. The event was globally live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of Mister Supranational and an exclusive preview on a few other national television channels.
