Live Interview with Sunil Pokharel ((Theatre Practitioner ) Sunil Pokharel is a Nepali theatre artist and director. One of the pioneers of modern Nepali theatre & one of the most acclaimed filmmakers in the Nepali film industry, he is the recipient of National Talent Award.Sunil Pokharel started his career as a theatre artist at the age of thirteen when he was in School. In initial days, he worked with artist and director Badri Adhikari and Ramesh Budhathoki in Biratnagar. Later, he moved to Kathmandu and worked in guidance of veteran Nepali theatre artist Harihar Sharma. Pokharel received a scholarship to study at the New Delhi-based National School of Drama (NSD) after a serendipitous meeting while working at the then Royal Nepal Academy.
