Mr. Bhaban Bhatta: Founder of TBI and Ex-President of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). His journey has been one of rags to riches. Born in Tandrang, Gorkha, a rural part of Nepal with a humble background, he started out as as a kitchen hand in a small restaurant in Japan and now is the founder/chairman of Total Business Institute which runs a chain of 290 restaurants in Japan and has also expanded its services in the sectors not just limited to hotel and resorts, food and beverages network, but also in aviation, travel, and tourism, ICT, media, infrastructure, trading, education, and apparels.. TBI has spread its wings in eight different countries including Nepal, India, USA, Belgium, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan. As of mid-2016, TBi Group Nepal holds 26 companies under its umbrella.
